Sometimes I think the most important thing I can do as a photographer is to show how sacred the everyday moments are. To freeze the seconds that flash by so fast and in such a jumble that it’s impossible to recognize them, to isolate and display their importance for you.
It’s my job to pay really, really close attention. And when I’m looking so closely, I can see that nothing is ordinary. It’s beautiful, it’s magical, it’s amazing. Real life is amazing. Let me show you what I see in your family.
