Owen is the youngest munchkin of our family friends. A couple weeks ago he was out playing and had a freak accident that caused an incredible amount of brain trauma. He was rushed to the hospital with swelling and bleeding on the brain. He had several surgeries, and at at least one point, his parents thought they were about to lose him. But Owen fought and he made it. He not only made it, his recovery has been rather miraculous. He still has a long road ahead of him. If you’d like to help, a family friend set up a GoFundMe account. I offered to make photos early on, when we weren’t sure what the outcome would be. Now that he’s recovering I’m thrilled to be able to visit weekly and document his recovery for his family.
