I’ve known Christy for several years – she’s a teacher at my kid’s school. She’s amazing. When we decided to put together a shoot, we’d originally planned to be outdoors somewhere. But then the weather got the best of us and we rented a studio. Which turned out to be a lot of fun. I love, love to see each family member’s individual personality come out as the shoot progresses. That’s one reason it’s important to plan for the full two hours – showing your personality in front of a camera can take some trust, and trust can take some time. I love the photos we made.
