Andrea was one of my son’s teachers for first grade. She’s amazing – super fun, super organized and super engaging. She even got him to like reading! I met up with her family and her parents and sister’s family to capture some day in the life photos for them. I love love love being able to photograph a family in their normal environment. The background becomes meaningful – especially to the kids when they’re grown and looking back at how they used to be. Instead of something neutral, the backgrounds become as meaningful as the faces.
